<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of a hydro turbine in a wide range of water discharge by preventing a secondary flow from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: This hydraulic machine includes a hydro turbine runner 50 which has a crown 51 at the center and a band 52 along the outer periphery and is formed around the axis of rotation C, a plurality of long blades 53 which are arranged along the circumferential direction of the axis of rotation C, and whose center sides are supported by the crown 51 and the outer peripheral sides are supported by the band 52, and short blades 54 whose center sides are supported by the crown 51 and the outer peripheral sides are supported by the band 52, which are arranged between the long blades 53, and whose rear edges 54a are curved convexly in the rotating direction of the hydro turbine runner 50 in turbine operation on a plane of projection perpendicular to the axis of rotation C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
