PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stable paper separation by blowing off air to a predetermined place of printing paper regardless of the size of the printing paper, and to simplify drive mechanisms in a paper feeder for an image forming device. SOLUTION: This paper feeder has a paper feeding table 30, a pair of paper width guides 31 and 32, an air-sucking type carrying mechanism 33, and an air blowout mechanism 36. In the pair of paper width guides 31 and 32, one is a fixed paper width guide 31 of fixing a position in the paper width direction, and the other is a movable paper width guide 32 capable of adjusting a position in the paper width direction. The air blowout mechanism 36 is set so as to have a blowout port 101 in a position at a predetermined distance in the paper width direction with respect to the fixed paper width guide 31. A paper feeding unit 28 for supporting the paper feeding table 30 and the image forming device are connected by a connecting mechanism 73 so that the paper feeding unit can move in the paper width direction to the image forming device.
