<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct chromatic aberration occurred in a lens by signal processing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an imaging device 100, image data whose phase is shifted according to the amount of shift width in each pixel is calculated in an image data interpolation portion 9 by the shift width information (chromatic aberration data) caused by the chromatic aberration peculiar to the lens corresponding to light source information, lens status and pixel position, and video signals such as brightness signals and the like are acquired by using the interpolated image data (image data where the chromatic aberration is corrected). This allows the imaging device 100 to suppress not only such phenomena that color shift is caused on a picked-up image (video image) because of insufficiency or excess in correction which is conventionally caused by the difference of light source but also specifically the color shift, color blurring and deterioration of resolution which are eminently appeared at a peripheral portion of a surface of the picked-up image (video image).
