An embodiment of the present invention relates to a broadcast receiver and a multi-screen processing method using same. The broadcast receiver of the embodiment comprises a broadcast reception part that receives broadcast signals from physical channels; a decoding part that decodes the said received broadcast signals from physical channels into data of a video service channel and an audio service channel; an OSD generation part that outputs images to an OSD layer when in multi-screen mode; a multi-screen processing part that processes a first screen and a second screen of the multiple screens using the output data of said decoding part and said OSD generation part; and a control part that controls each of said parts in said multi-screen mode.
