<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal generating device capable of outputting a signal of a high accurate level, even if there is a rapid change in the frequency or the level. <P>SOLUTION: The signal generating device is provided with an ALC (automatic level control) part 100 for forming a negative feedback loop, controlling a level varying means, adjusting a CW signal to a prescribed level and outputting the CW signal in a CW signal outputting state, and maintaining a control value for controlling the level varying means during negative feedback and outputting a modulated signal in a modulated signal outputting state; and an attenuating means 11 for changing the level of the signal outputted from the ALC part by steps, previously stores a first correction value for correcting the frequency response characteristics from a modulating means to an input of the attenuating means and a second correction value for correcting an attenuation amount error in each of the steps and corrects a baseband signal, by making a baseband signal generating part 1 vary the size of the baseband signal, on the basis of the first correction value and the second correction value that corresponds to the frequency of a modulated signal during outputting the modulated signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
