PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a gear is provided to prevent the degradation of strength by eliminating burr which is generated due to a hobbing process without a mechanical process such as a cutting process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a gear comprises includes a step of filling a mold having a chamfer with a work. The cross section(14) of the work is molded on each ridge of intersection with the cross section of a tooth flank(11), a tooth face, and a tooth end face(13). The cross section of the work is mechanically processed after being molded. The mold includes chamfers(111,121,131). |
