PURPOSE: A semiconductor and a method for forming the same are provided to prevent the bridge between storage electrodes by directly contacting a storage electrode and the contact of the storage electrode. CONSTITUTION: One word line(15) is overlapped with the center of an active region(13). A bit line(23) is connected to the one side of the active region. A storage electrode is connected to the other side of the active region. The bit line connects the one sides of a plurality of active regions. The storage electrode with a longitudinal axis toward the bit line direction is formed with a rectangular plane shape.
