GREEN PHOSPHOR FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, GREEN PHOSPHOR COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL EMPLOYING THE GREEN PHOSPHOR

PURPOSE: A green phosphor for plasma display panel is provided to improve color purity while maintaining excellent afterglow property and to obtain a plasma display panel with a wide color reproduction range. CONSTITUTION: A green phosphor for a plasma display panel is represented by (Lu_(3-x),Ce_x)Al_5O_12, wherein 0<=x<3. A green phosphor for a plasma display panel comprises a first phosphor represented by (Lu_(3-x),Ce_x)Al_5O_12 and a second phosphor selected from the group consisting of ZnSi2O4:Mn, YBO3:Tb, BaMgAl14O23:Mn and GdAl3B4O12:T. The weight ratio of the first phosphor and the second phosphor is 3:7 - 7:3.
