<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new peptide that can efficiently induce the production of an antibody upon conducting immunization with a target antigen. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a T-cell epitope-like peptide obtained by production processes (a) to (e): (a) calculating the binding energy between each of the amino acids binding to each other, from the crystal structure of the complex of MHC-II and the T-cell epitope peptide, (b) carrying out docking simulation, (c) calculating interaction energy between MHC-II and the T-cell epitope peptide in case that each of the first to the fourteenth amino acids of the T-cell epitope peptide is individually substituted one after another with another amino acid, based on the binding energy in case that all of the fourteen amino acids of the T-cell epitope peptide are substituted with glycine as a reference value, to choose amino acid residues yielding higher interaction energy than in case of glycine, (d) choosing promising amino acid residues comparing with the original residues, and (e) conducting the scoring of the binding energy with respect to amino acid sequences prepared by combining the original amino acid residues with amino acid residues hit by the process (d), and choosing amino acid sequences ranked higher with respect to the binding energy from the above prepared amino acid sequences. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
