<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality determining device and method for performing abnormality determination by complexly using sensor signals from a plurality of sensors, and thereby generating fewer error alarms. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a control part 31 which executes: an impact sound detection processing for detecting generation of impact sound by comparing a sensor signal measured by an impact sound sensor 16 with an impact sound determination threshold value for determining the generation of the impact sound; a vibration detection processing for detecting generation of vibration of a predetermined level or higher by comparing a sensor signal measured by a vibration sensor 14 with a vibration determination threshold value for determining the generation of the vibration of the predetermined level or higher; an abnormality determination processing for determining whether an abnormal state is occurring in a vehicle 10 by comparing generation timing of the impact sound detected by the impact sound detection processing with generation timing of the vibration at the predetermined level or higher detected by the vibration detection processing; and an abnormality reporting processing for reporting generation of the abnormal state of the vehicle 10 by using respective warning devices 60 if the abnormal state is determined to be occurring in the vehicle 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
