<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing, a printing apparatus, and a display device, whereby misalignment of images to be printed on a substrate can be corrected and overlapped with a high degree of definition. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 20 measures amount of misalignment of an image pattern actually printed on the substrate 9 at a plurality of measurement points on a plurality of substrates 9, calculates the average from the misalignments at their respective measurement points, and defines the calculated average value as amount for correction at each correction point. The control part 20 adsorbs a printing plate 7 with suction openings 31 of the plate correction mechanism 16 when the printing plate 7 is mounted on a printing plate block 11. Further, based on the calculated amount for correction, the adsorbed printing plate 7 is extended or is retracted, thereby the position misalignment is corrected. The control part 20 applies ink on the printing plate 7 with the ink application apparatus 15 after the correction, and transfers the applied ink onto the substrate 9 through the blanket 8, thereby printing is conducted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
