<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting implement with a stay excelling in productivity and reduced in cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A stay bracket includes: a connecting implement body 2 formed by bending a steel plate and having a first plate part 2a with a first formed outer surface 3a for fixing one of two parts, and a second plate part 2b with a second formed outer surface 3b for fixing the other part; and the stay 4 formed as a steel plate for reinforcing the back side of the connecting implement body 2, and having a first outer edge 5a fitted to the back face 6a of the first plate part to support the back face 6a, and a second outer edge 5b fitted to the back face 6b of the second plate part to support the back face 6b.
