The filling piece (1) has a tubing section (3) provided in an area of a filling opening for receiving a discharge port (4) of a fuel-nozzle. An insert forming a neck is provided as a flame barrier and surrounds the discharge port under formation of gas passage gaps. A gap dimension is selected such that a flame drift is controlled. A spiral ring (6) forms the gas passage gaps that are extending along a longitudinal direction of the filling piece. A set of holding rings is rotated against each other such that the insert defines a lateral surface in form of a single hyperboloid.
