PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostat device capable of reducing pressure loss due to a supporting frame for cooling liquid flowing in a cooling circuit. SOLUTION: The thermostat device comprises a valve seat 19 having a cylindrical valve seat portion 19a inside which a valve port 20 is provided, and a horizontal valve seat porion 19b provided in a flange shape ranging from the cylindrical valve seat portion 19a, and the supporting frame 50 fixed at both ends onto the horizontal valve seat portion 19b across the upper side of the valve port 20. The supporting frame 50 supports a piston shaft 21 at its upper end inserted through the valve port 20, on the center side. To the supporting frame 50, bending work is applied up to the vertical upper side of a site on the inner peripheral face of the cylindrical valve seat portion 19a where at least a valve port diameter is minimum, to form an approximately U-shaped cross section ranging from the center side to both end sides. Thus, sites are greatly reduced where the supporting frame 50 can resist to the flow of the cooling liquid from a radiator connection port 7a through the valve port 20 of the valve seat 19.
