摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately switch all MIMO communication systems and encoding and modulation systems so as to obtain high throughput in a radio communication apparatus coping with the plurality of MIMO communication systems. SOLUTION: A MIMO system deciding section 14 of a transmission side radio communication set 1 decides an MIMO communication system with reference to a CQI value separated in a separator 18 and a measured rate table 13, and an AMC table controlling section 15 selects an MCS value to be used according to the decided MIMO communication system and the CQI value. The AMC table controlling section 15 changes the MCS value step by step according to a transmission count and the success/failure of communication. If receiving is successful or if the transmission count reaches the maximum value, the average rate of the measured rate table is updated. At the time, based on an estimated value from the communication result of the combination of the MIMO communication system, the encoding system, and the modulating system that are used, the reference for switching the combination of the MIMO communication system, the encoding system and the modulating system that are not used is changed.
