<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ascending/descending ladder for a truck, which facilitates the replacement of a step member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This ascending/descending ladder for the truck is used by leaning a ladder body 4 against the loading platform section of the truck. In the ladder body 4, a plurality of rungs 2 are horizontally laid between a pair of right and left side frames 1 and 1. In the ascending/descending ladder, the step member 3 is attached to the rung 2 of the ladder body 4. A rung fitting portion 12 for being detachably fitted into the ring 2 from above it is provided on the base end side of the step member 3, and fitted into the rung 2; and the rung fitting portion 12 and the rung 2 are joined together by a bolt 17 and a nut 18.
