<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic fishing system wherein all the respective processings necessary for fishing are automated to thereby more efficiently perform fishing work or fishery work than conventional technologies, and easily afford fishing results even by a fishing beginner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The automatic fishing system includes: an electric reel 12; a flexing level sensor 2 mounted on a fishing rod for detecting the flexing level of the fishing rod; a setter 46 for setting various fishing conditions; a reel rotation detector 38 for detecting the drive level of the electric reel 12; and a controller 30 for performing a series of sequences of a fishhook moving processing, bite monitoring processing, striking processing, and catch processing, based on the detection output from the flexing level sensor 2, detection output from the reel rotation detector 38, and the various fishing conditions set by the setter 46.
