<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that although enhancement in bending durability of a rubber material is an objective for a diaphragm, various conventional techniques for rubber compounding do not exert sufficient results. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The diaphragm improved in bending durability is prepared by adding to a simple rubber substance used therefor, a flame-retardant resin composition comprising polytetrafluoroethylene particles, which are obtained by suspension-polymerization and has an average particle diameter of 1-1,000 μm, bulk density of 0.20-1.00 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and a standard specific density of 2.13-2.23.
