PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a lens barrier device; to reduce the number of part items; and to reduce costs. SOLUTION: This lens barrier device includes: a base 10 having an opening 10a; barrier blades 21, 22 which are oscillatingly supported by the base so as to be able to open/close the opening; a drive mechanism which open/close-drives the barrier blades; and a cover 40 which is connected to the base so as to cover the barrier blades and the drive mechanism and has an opening 40a. The derive mechanism: includes a circular arc part 31 which is formed so as to rotate along the base; an outer force acting part 32 which is formed continuously on the circular arc part and on which an outer force acts; elastic deformation parts 33, 34 which are retractable in the rotation direction and formed continuously on the circular arc part so as to generate a tension or pressing energizing force; and an elastic rotation member 30 which integrally sections engagement parts 35, 36 formed continuously on the elastic deformation part so as to engage with the barrier blade. Thereby, compared to a conventional device, a small number of part items, simplification of the structure, and compactness, thinning and low cost of the device can be achieved.
