The device (1) has a compressor (2) or an input terminal (3) for a compressed air, and an electrical air heater (9) with an outlet for the heated air. A controllable valves (6, 7) controls delivery of heated compressed air. A nozzle is provided for delivering the heated compressed air. The nozzle is arranged at a blowing part (12) separated from the air heater. The blowing part is connected with the air heater by a flexible line (11) that is provided with a thermal insulation e.g. glass fiber insulation. The line is made of a metal. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning a tool i.e. nozzle.
