PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system in which work such as inspection, repair, and replacement of a lighting fixture is easy and reduction in working cost is realized, and lifetime of the lighting fixture can be prolonged. SOLUTION: A frame material 11 is installed on a ceiling chamber 6 and surrounds the opening part 3e for lighting of the ceiling 3. A first packing material 12 of frame shape surrounds the opening part 3e for lighting at the inside of a frame material 11, and is installed over the ceiling 3. A translucent plate 13 is installed on the first packing material 12 inside the frame material 11 so as to close airtightly the opening part 3e for lighting. A second packing material 14 of frame shape is installed on the upper side of the periphery of the translucent plate 13 inside the frame material 11. A pressing member 15 of frame shape is fixed to the frame material 11, and fixes the translucent plate 13 by pressing to the ceiling 3 side through the second packing material 14.
