A method for control of parameters of spark discharge of ignition system that includes charging storage capacitor with high voltage current (400 V), this is previously obtained by conversion of low voltage of on-board power system by means of pulse converter, primary windings of ignition coils are connected to the storage capacitor through power electronic keys. The capacitor is used as storage element with high power without formation of oscillatory circuit by primary windings of ignition coils, and one controls electronic power keys in frequency-pulse mode with possibility of control of frequency and duration of pulse series. This results in current pulse flow through primary windings of ignition coils, those are converted by their secondary windings to high voltage pulses, this initiates series of spark discharges with controlled parameters. |
