The aim of the invention is to improve a method for increasing the heat storage capacity of building stones made of a calcium silicate material, particularly porous concrete stones, during which melting heat storage material (PCM) carrying out one or more phase transitions is introduced into the building stones, so the static properties and the properties with regard to the water-vapor diffusion of the building blocks remains essential unchanged. To this end, the invention provides that the melting heat storage material is, during the production of the building stones, added in encapsulated form to one or more of the starting materials and/or to one or more intermediate products, and is thus bound in the finished building stones during a subsequent production thereof. The invention also discloses a building stone made of calcium silicate material, preferably of porous concrete, that is characterized by containing a melting heat storage material in encapsulated form, preferably in the form of microcapsules having a diameter between 1 μm and 40 μm, particularly preferred, between 2 μm and 20 μm. |
