PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a state where a scan period is unnecessarily extended and a state where the scan period is shortened not to be constituted any more, even when a heartbeat is changed concerning an X-ray computed tomographic apparatus for collecting data under electrocardiographic synchronous scan. SOLUTION: The X-ray computed tomographic apparatus includes: an X-ray tube 101 for generating an X-ray; an X-ray detector 103 for detecting the X-ray transmitting a subject; a support mechanism 102 for supporting the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector so as to be continuously rotatable in the circumference of the subject; a re-constituting part 114 for re-constituting an image, based on projection data detected by the X-ray detector; and an electrocardiographic synchronization control part 118 for synchronizing the X-ray irradiation period from the X-ray tube to the subject with the heartbeat of the subject.
