PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device, an electronic device, and a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device are provided to control the degradation of display quality due to external static electricity by obtaining good anti-electrostatic function. CONSTITUTION: A light blocking layer(22b) is formed between pixel electrodes(9). The light blocking layer absorbs visible light. A chromatic layer(22a) is formed to be overlapped with the pixel electrode. The chromatic layer transmits the light of a specific wavelength range. An overcoat layer(24) protects the chromatic layer. A static electricity blocking layer(40) of a transparent conductive material is included on a second substrate of the overcoat layer and a liquid crystal layer of the light blocking layer.
