<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective plate integrated type liquid crystal display panel in which a protrusion portion formed on one of a pair of substrates of a liquid crystal display element is reinforced by an observation surface protective plate and a driver element mounted on the protrusion portion is protected by a resin layer bonding the liquid crystal display element and observation surface protective plate together. <P>SOLUTION: On the observation side of the liquid crystal display element 1 having the protrusion portion 3a formed on the substrate 3 on the opposite side from the observation side and the driver element 8 mounted on the surface of the protrusion portion 3a opposed to the observation-side substrate 2, the observation surface protective plate 18 is arranged with a predetermined gap interposed, and in the gap between the liquid crystal display element 1 and observation surface protective element 18, the resin layer 20 for bonding the liquid crystal element 1 and observation surface protective plate 18 together is provided in association with the entire external surface of the observation-side substrate 2 of the liquid crystal display element 1 and at least the part of the protrusion portion 3a where the driver element 8 is mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
