PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling spindle of a machine tool capable of enhancing the sealability providing an exclusive discharging passage of lubricating oil. SOLUTION: The milling spindle 100 has a spindle 112 to be rotatably supported via bearings 130, 131, 132. A first lubricating oil feed port 140 is formed in the first bearing 130, a second lubricating oil feed port 141 is formed in the second bearing 131, and a third lubricating oil feed port 142 is formed in the third bearing 132. A first discharging passage 150 is provided to discharge the lubricating oil fed to the first bearing 130. A second discharging passage 160 is formed in the second bearing 131. The first discharging passage 150 is connected to the second discharging passage 160 via the passage 152. The discharging passages of a housing are connected to flexible tubes 162, 172, and lubricating oil mist is collected in a drain pan 180. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
