摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy in extraction of in-vivo information in technologies for extracting the in-vivo information from a target position by using digital-modulated continuous waves. SOLUTION: A digital modulation part 20 digital-modulates RF waves fed from an RF wave oscillator 22 based on a periodical signal sequence fed from a pattern generating part 24. A transmission beam former 14 and a receiving beam former 16 form ultrasonic beams with the target position from which Doppler signals are selectively extracted as the focus. The continuous waves output from the digital modulation part 20 are delayed in delay circuits 26I and 26Q, and fed to respective mixers of a receiving mixer 30 as reference signals. The delay circuits 26I and 26Q delay the continuous waves according to the depth of the target position within the living body.
