摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch mechanism capable of being mounted without requiring a large space and capable of reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This clutch mechanism is provided with a motor 19, a rotary shaft 18 rotatively driven by it, a ring gear 7 connected to a crank shaft 2a of an internal combustion engine 2, and an actuator member 14 linearly movable along the axial direction of the crank shaft 2a. The clutch mechanism is further provided with a clutch 4 for connecting and disconnecting the crank shaft 2a and a power transmission 3 by linear movements, a movement conversion mechanism 27 for converting the rotary movements of the rotary shaft 18 to the linear movements of the actuator member 14, a first transmission passage and a second transmission passage for transmitting the movements to the ring gear 7 and the movement converting mechanism 27 respectively, and a switch mechanism 20 for switching the rotary shaft 18 between the first transmission passage at starting of the internal combustion engine 2 and the second transmission passage at connecting and disconnecting operation of the clutch 4.
