POWER SUPPLY DEVICE FOR INDUCTION HEATING

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for induction heating using a switch for regenerating magnetic energy.

SOLUTION: The DC terminal of a reverse conducting semiconductor switch of a bridge structure is connected with an energy storage capacitor to constitute a magnetic energy recovery switch of which the AC terminal is connected with an induction coil. A variable-frequency alternating pulse current is obtained by applying a gate signal to the solid-state switch to be turned on/off. Voltage is automatically generated by regeneration of magnetic energy, so that power is injected from a DC power supply by connecting with both ends of the capacitor through a smoothing coil.
