<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a light guide plate thin and low in cost without lowering irregular reflection efficiency; a method of manufacturing the light guide plate; and a surface light-emitting device and a cellphone using the light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate 10 is formed with a rugged interface part 12 between a light guide plate upper part 11 and a light guide plate lower part 13. The rugged interface part 12 is an interface layer formed when the light guide plate upper part 11 and the light guide part lower part 13 overlap with each other, and is composed of a deformable substance, such as air, whose refractive index is smaller than the refractive index of the light guide plate upper part 11 and light guide plate lower part 13. An interface between the light guide plate upper part 11 and the rugged interface part 12 and an interface between the light guide plate lower part 13 and the rugged interface part 12 are both formed in rugged shape. The rugged interface part 12 whose interface between the light guide plate upper part 11 and the light guide plate lower part 13 becomes an irregular reflection layer to enhance irregular reflection efficiency of light incident on the light guide plate 10, thereby forming uniform surface light emission and improving luminance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
