The valve assembly (2) has a fixation unit i.e. clamp, fixing a valve body (21) to a heat exchanger (1). The fixation unit is made of thermally conductive material, and is arranged for forming a thermal bridge between the body and the exchanger. The fixation unit includes fitting surfaces formed from flanges (31) and projections, with the exchanger, where the surfaces are in continuity with the exchanger and/or the body. The clamp includes the projections with the exchanger and the flange with the valve body.
