PURPOSE: An MOF(metal organic framework) in which metal organic ligands are connected by ether bond is provided to obtain a useful hydrogen storage material. CONSTITUTION: An MOF(metal organic framework) is obtained by connecting ether dicarboxylate dianion((COO-)O(COO-)) to metal organic ligands by a linking ligand. The MOF contains a metal oxide part having paddle-wheel form. The MOF has NbO organic structure form. The MOF is synthesized using ether dicarboxylate dianion and mixing metal salt with dicarbonic acid.
