<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method in which an afterimage is prevented from being generated even when a gradation image is repeatedly recorded, and a good gradation image can be reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing method repeats one by one a heating process for heating a thermal reversible recording medium whose color tone changes reversibly depending on temperature up to a temperature at which a recorded image can be erased, a solid image processing process for recording a solid image on the thermal reversible recording medium after the heating process and erasing the solid image, and a gradation image recording process for recording the gradation image on the thermal reversible recording medium after the solid image is erased. In the image processing method, the solid image is recorded through a coloring concentration of 65-95% of the maximum saturation concentration in the solid image, and a 100% black image in the gradation image is recorded through an energy of 100-85%A (A is an energy of the coloring concentration of the solid image). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
