<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating device having a simple structure and easily operated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The elevating device 1 includes a lower structure 2, an upper structure 3 and a connecting member 4 connecting both of the structures. The lower structure 2 includes a pair of first depressing mechanisms 21a, 21b, and the upper structure 3 includes a pair of second depressing mechanism 31a, 31b. A depressing direction by the first depressing mechanisms 21a, 21b, and a depressing direction by the second depressing mechanisms 31a, 31b orthogonally intersect in a plan view. The depressing parts 210a, 210b of the first depressing mechanisms 21a, 21b are composed of upper wheels 211a, 211b and lower wheels 212a, 212b respectively. The depressing parts 310a, 310b of the second depressing mechanisms 31a, 31b are composed of upper wheels 311a, 311b and lower wheels 312a, 312b respectively. At least one of the lower wheels 212a, 212b of the first depressing mechanisms 21a, 21b, and the lower wheels 312a, 312b of the second depressing mechanisms 31a, 31b comprises a drive wheel.
