The key (10) has a lateral control button (12) placed between semi-shells (14, 16) of a single plastic shell. The shell forms a housing (18) for a pusher (20) controlled by the button. The pusher is formed by a rod that slides in the housing while co-operating with a helical spring (22). The spring returns the rod to a rest position in absence of action on the button, and is maintained in compression between the button and a surface (26) of the housing. The rod controls an on-off switch of a multimedia device in the key. A circular seal (32) is placed between the rod and walls of the housing.
