<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic inkjet recording apparatus which can effectively and stably shape sound waves to beams, can effectively propagate ultrasonic waves, and can obtain stable recording quality. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The acoustic inkjet recording apparatus includes a head drive circuit 12-A having an ultrasonic wave emission part and an acoustic lens 5 formed in one piece, and a cartridge-nozzle unified part 12-B which is arranged in tight contact with the ultrasonic wave propagation downstream side supplying a desired ink and has a nozzle for ejecting ink droplets. A second acoustic lens 8 is set in a sound wave propagation course which turns convergent ultrasonic waves to collimated beams at a desired convergent wave position. The liquid droplets are made to flow by applying convergent beams to a flight liquid level after the formation of the convergent beams. The head drive circuit and the cartridge-nozzle unified part are configured to be separable from each other. Thereby, a nozzle can be discarded and replaced with a new nozzle in a printing impossible state caused by the ink clogging or the like of the cartridge-nozzle unified part.
