<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unlocking structure which causes no difficulty in high density mounting arrangement through expansion of the entire dimension of a connector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The unlocking structure is composed of: a connector body part for holding a signal cable; a lock lever which is an elastic piece projectingly provided from a part of the body part in parallel with a connector inserting/drawing direction and supported in cantilever; and an unlocking member which is freely slidably supported in the inserting/drawing direction on the connector body part so as to unlock the lock lever. The lock lever 2 is provided with a locking lug, an unlocking operating part, and a locking part 2c. The unlocking member 3 is installed by being situated in a substantially intermediate part in the vertical direction of the connector body part. The chip end of the unlocking member. when pulled in the drawing direction, is designed to engage with the locking part 2c of the lock lever 2, elastically deforming the lock lever 2 in the unlocking direction b.
