PURPOSE: A network separate switch and a control method thereof are provided to enable networks applying an Ethernet/IP protocol to transmit a packet even during an operation. CONSTITUTION: A network separate switch comprises an Ethernet/IP driver. The Ethernet/IP driver transmits a packet between networks during the operation of a network. The network separate switch includes an NIC(Network Interface Card) separator(10). The NIC separator transmits or receives packets of at least one network. The NIC separator independently manages databases of one or more networks.
