A data analysis device (1), comprising a link data generator (3) and a correlation value computer (4), is used to analyze multiple language expressions. The link data generator (3) extracts time data for various electronic documents and relationships between the electronic documents from multiple electronic documents that contain a given language expression, detects the links between some kind of one language expression and another language expression and the times that those links occur based on the time data and the relationships between the electronic documents, and produces link data that specify same. The correlation value computer (4) specifies from the link data the number of occurrences of links between one language expression and another language expression and the time of occurrence of each link, and uses the number of occurrences of links and the time of occurrence of each link to compute a correlation between one language expression and another language expression according to the extent to which links continually occur.
