An immunoglobulin-binding protein represented by general formula (1) or (3). R-R2    (1) (In formula (1), R represents an amino acid sequence which is composed of 4 to 300 amino acid residues and contains a region composed of contiguous 4 to 20 histidine residues; and R2 represents an amino acid sequence which is composed of 50 to 500 amino acid residues and contains at least one immunoglobulin-binding domain of protein-A (provided that the terminal of R2 to which R binds is the terminal of the immunoglobulin-binding domain). R2-R    (3) (In formula (3), R represents an amino acid sequence which is composed of 4 to 300 amino acid residues and contains a region composed of contiguous 4 to 20 histidine residues; and R2 represents an amino acid sequence which is composed of 50 to 500 amino acid residues and contains at least one immunoglobulin-binding domain of protein-A (provided that the terminal of R2 to which R binds is the terminal of the immunoglobulin-binding domain).
