A sliding door is suspended by means of a track 10; fixed over a door opening, with a runway 10a and two or more projecting brackets 12 affixed to the top of the door, each bracket 12 having ears 15 to locate between them a member 17, retained in position by a member 16, for sliding along the runway 10a. The track 10 may be rigid synthetic plastics material while the member 17 may be material such as P.T.F.E., the member 16 having end slots through which the ears 15 on bracket limbs 14a extend. |
