PURPOSE: A terminal and a voice synthesizing method therefor are provided to increase satisfaction for a user of the terminal by adding mood effects on a vocal avatar and synthesizing voices with different tone colors and atmosphere on the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal comprises a storing part(160) storing sets of a plurality basic voice setting values used for synthesizing voice and a control part(180) determining the values of the basic voice setting value sets according to operation of a user. When a message arrives, the control part searches a telephone number of a received message in a telephone directory. The control part converts the received message into TTS. |
