<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer garment positively carried even when it does not rain for example. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The outer garment includes the following structure: a body 11 includes an opening 12 through which the head of a wearer is passed to be put on her (his) body; a bag 31 attached to the periphery of the opening 12 is put on the head in a wearing mode where the body 11 is put on the body; a first strap 71 attached to the bag 31 functions as a suspending cord suspending the bag 31 while being in a pouch mode where the bag 31 wraps the lumped body 11; and a second strap 81 functions as a suspending cord suspending the body 11 while being in a bag mode where the body 11 is fastened in a bag shape as the first strap 71 does.
