PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for an insulation test, for surely detecting an occurrence of a spark in an object to be tested. SOLUTION: The apparatus for the insulation test 1 includes: a voltage applying section 3 which includes a constant voltage source 11 and applies a test-use voltage V to conductor patterns 110a, 110b (prescribed portions of the object to be tested) of a circuit board 100 through test-use probes 2a, 2a; and a control section 7 which executes a test process for testing the insulation state in such a way that the test-use voltage V is applied to the conductor patterns 110a, 110b, by controlling the voltage applying section 3, and which executes a prescribed process being previously regulated, when detecting the occurrence of the spark in the circuit board 100, based on a voltage value of the test-use voltage V. The voltage applying section 3 includes resistors R1, R2 connected between the constant voltage source 11 and an output section 3a, and applies the test-use voltage V through any one of the resistors R1, R2.
