<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular wall system for mounting a display device with which installation work is readily performed in a short time, and which has a flexible fixing position for reliable mounting on a wall. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The modular wall system for mounting the display device includes a frame member obtained by combining a plurality of grid-shaped frames 30, and a plurality of mounting devices 60 mounted to the frame member and fixed on the wall. A frame 30 is formed with a plurality of mounting holes 301 for combining adjacent frames, at a predetermined interval. The mounting device 60 of bent C-shape has a pair of facing surfaces formed with mounting holes 614 for mounting the mounting device to the frame 30, at opposite positions, and has a connecting surface for connecting the facing surfaces which is formed with elongated mounting holes 611-613 extending in the connecting direction. The mounting device 60 is fixed to a predetermined frame 30 with screws through mounting holes 301 and 614 and fixed on the wall with screws through the mounting holes 611-613.
