FERROELECTRIC CAST FILM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferroelectric cast film having large remanent polarization and its manufacturing method without performing stretching treatment. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the ferroelectric cast film includes the following steps. (I) the step for manufacturing an unstretched cast film by casting the solution with polyvinylidene fluoride solved into a solvent having a dielectric constant of 3-100 at the temperature higher than the gel temperature of the solution and the temperature lower than the gel temperature +60°C and (II) the step for applying an alternating electric field having an amplitude of vibration of 190-400 MV/m to the unstretched cast film.
