PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, remote indication system, and program which can store an original capture image corresponding to the displayed image when an image displayed on a display device is instructed to be stored. SOLUTION: A PC 1 includes: an ID management unit 113 that manages an image ID to be added to a capture image from a camera 5; and a capture control unit 111 that adds the image ID to the capture image, temporarily stores the image added with the image ID and then transmits it to a PC 2 or PC 3. When storing an image displayed on a display device 20 or 30 connected to the PC 2 or PC3 is instructed, the ID management unit 113 receives from the PC 2 or PC 3 a storing instruction including the image ID in relation to the displayed image, and obtains from the capture control unit 111 the capture image corresponding to the image ID included in the storing instruction, and stores the obtained capture image into the storage unit 114.
