<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizing device bringing about a freshness retaining effect by charged particulate water to perishable food, and at the same time, preventing moisture from evaporating from a surface of perishable food. <P>SOLUTION: This electrostatic atomizing device (A) comprises spraying charged particulate water to perishable food 1 covered with a wrap film 3 so as to retain the freshness of the perishable food 1.
