PRINT INFORMATION READING APPARATUS AND PRINT INFORMATION READING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size and price of a reading apparatus while reliably imaging all regions of print information without using any display.

SOLUTION: A prism 17a is mounted on a window provided on a distal end surface portion of a case 18 of a remote controller 1A. While a bottom surface of the case 18 is disposed on a print sheet 20 with a two-dimensional (2D) code 21 printed thereon in a predetermined range in a lateral direction, an optical image of the 2D code is introduced from the window into the case 18 by the prism 17a, and formed on a light-receiving plane of a camera 10 disposed inside the case 18.
